@CHCHNews Regardless of the type of flag, this is arson and dangerous and a crime. What will they do next? This does need to be taken care of. This jeopardizes the school building and community. These parents need to communicate with their kids too!
Completely unacceptable & irresponsible that @PeelSchools stdnts & wrkrs know *today* that they’re heading into a solid week’s worth of unbearable & *UNSAFE* conditions in PDSB schools. Negligence on the part of successive Ont govts, but esp this current one. #ETFO#OntEd#OnLab
A dangerous heat wave is headed to Ontario. What is the plan for schools without A/C? How are students and education workers expected to endure such unsafe learning and working conditions? Please let us know what is happening at your family's school/s. #onted @ToddSmithPC

Dear Parents, If there is a violent student in your child's class do not call the principal & blame the new teacher, call the superintendent, Trustee, MPP & Minister of Education and tell them how the lack of mental health supports, and classroom supports is affecting your child.
Due to inclement weather conditions, no PDSB buses will be running to PDSB schools today.
In-person learners will switch to asynchronous learning for the day and log onto their Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), to retrieve assignments, etc.
CANCELLATIONS: All Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board schools and admin buildings are CLOSED.
All remote learning, e-learning, childcare and in-person learning are cancelled. @HWDSB#HamOnt

Are students going back to school on Monday? Has Ontario done anything to prepare for a safe return to school? Parents, students, and education workers are quite anxious about the current situation. Some guidance would be greatly appreciated @Sflecce. #onpoli#onted#Nepean
Grade 3/4 students @OwenwoodP learned about Terry Fox & The Marathon of Hope. We learned that Terry was Métis. We discussed the survivors of residential schools. We united the two with a runner & moccasin. We posted messages of community, love, support, hope, strength and more.
We’re so proud of the work we have done for Truth & Reconciliation. @OwenwoodP We planted to create a T&R garden with plants that have medicinal properties. We tied orange ribbons in honour of the children that went through the residential school system. @PeelSchools
