What would you say if words weren’t something to fear?
We’re supporting ‘Letters to Our Sons’ led by Orly Klein and Stephen Graham.
Stephen Graham is dyslexic and a long-standing dyslexia advocate. He knows that some of the most powerful life lessons aren’t written perfectly, they’re lived.
If you are a father of sons, share:
- What you’ve learned about being a man
- What your son has taught you
- The advice you wish you’d heard earlier
- The pride you don’t always say out loud
However you begin - on paper, on a screen, or spoken aloud - what matters most is the meaning you choose to share.
Selected letters may appear in the book Letters to Our Sons, out October 2026 @BloomsburyBooks
✍️ Submit your letter: https://t.co/oDSgotnkxu (deadline 12 Jan 2026)

***ACTIVE OBSERVATION***
Active observation is one of our core techniques that we use in the classroom to support responsive teaching.
Our teaching assistants also do active observation using the following sheet using the assess, plan, do, review cycle.

There are good news stories behind this increase -better identification, improvements in medical science, more awareness of neurodivergence. That’s not the whole picture, but is an important part of it.
