Fantastic to be back in the kitchen with the scholars @AstreaDearne starting off the year with a chopping skills refresher, making our own salsa, guacamole and homemade cheesy nachos 🤗

Our year 8’s and 9’s @AstreaDearne are focusing on food waste and how we can use up the bits and bobs in our fridge and reduce our food waste. Well done to year 9’s today! 🤩

Making a start to the @AstreaDearne pumpkin carving 🎃 they will be carving the faces on them tomorrow 😁 we will be roasting the seeds and serving them with the soup on Free Food Friday! 🙌🏻

Dearne Blacks finished 5th in their group 👏🏼 Dearne Reds won their group but unfortunately lost in the semi-final! A fantastic day out with our U13 girls who were absolutely outstanding!! 🙌🏼⚽️ #TeamDearne #TeamPE

Cooking club today was class! @AstreaDearne Simple, quick cooking without compromising on flavour or nutritional value. Smoked salmon,egg muffins with a choice of veg smoked salmon was a new taste and experience today for many. They loved it 🫶

Wow! What a finish to the week for cooking club. Full to capacity on all spaces and all scholars who attended worked outstandingly throughout, producing some quality food. On todays menu, chicken fried rice 🙌🏻😋 well done to years 7, 8 & 9! AMAZING 🤩
