Yesterday we met some space scientists and they taught us about space. We got to explore stars, planets and galaxies in their planetarium! It was SO MUCH fun!🤩

P2 enjoy a peaceful soft start in the morning, time to unpack our items, relax and catch up with adults or classmates before beginning our lessons.

Voting to pick our next handwriting targets to focus on. We considered which letters are tricky to write starting in the correct place, making them small and sitting correctly on the line. 💭✍️

P2 helping travel the distance for leg it to lagganlia! We each did 1km walking, jogging or running so 25km added to the community distance! 🏃‍♀️

This week we are reading The Gruffalo in Scots. We are using our knowledge of the original story to translate the text and learn some new Scots words. Can you read this part of the story and work out what the Scots words mean?

We are learning about second minutes and hours. We are also learning to use and read a stop watch. We gave partners challenges to complete and timed how long it took them to complete. ⏱️⏳

Today we completed our artwork for the school art gallery! Our paintings are inspired by the artist Alma Thomas. 🎨🖌️ we had lots of fun painting in her style🤩

P2 enjoyed dancing and singing to Auld Lang Syne and learned what Hogmanay is. We are also learning to sing Ye Canny Shove Yer Grannie.
