Trying out an exit ticket bulletin board. Answers are anonymous. Students rate their understanding and answer a question, so we can both monitor progress and understanding, and I can use the data to inform future teaching.

Today we played a "Make Ten" math game. Partners take turns matching 1 or 2 cards to make 10. Once they run out of matches, they refill the 10 cards.

We're back to school! This is a great alternative to the traditional rubber band and string cup stacking team building game. 2nd Graders use 1 finger instead. Still challenging and less frustrating!!

My kids are planning a camping trip using all the math skills they've learned in 2nd grade. First, they have a budget amd need to but their equipment. 🙌🏼 engagement!
