@ashton_couch My father had someone tell him a story about how some Muslims came to but goats and they had to butcher them on their property and have a whole ritualistic ceremony there. It
would make a difference how traditional the group is and if it would burden your conscience or not.

@theclassicwife Raspberry leaf tea is not good for pregnancy. Now RED raspberry leaf tea has good antioxidant properties, but probably doesn’t shorten labor like people say (the second is what you are probably referring to).

Yes, there is a difference in the leaves.

@CHIDSPIN I had my ladies all buy $60 dresses. I told them if they couldn’t afford it we could help. We had a group party with the ladies and the guys (ushers, spouses and other important people invited as well). We all played games and had party snacks. It was so much fun.

@becomelutheran 15 year old will probably receive some sort of education on what baptism is, maybe for the 5 year old as well (age appointment instruction). They might get a stool for 3 and 5 year old to stand on, or have someone hold them up. 15 year old will stand up and bend over.

@happygreymom See, the problem is, in my state (Nebraska) a midwife cannot legally assist in a home birth. The closest hospital with a delivery room is 40 minutes away, and even further for other towns. So I'm forced to the hospital to have the necessary assistance.

@godlywomanhood love going to ladies conferences and a Pastor speaks & leads Bible study. Especially one with a family. However, at one future Pastor’s wives’ conference it was nice to hear from current Pastor’s wives to hear experience (although we always had a pastor leading in prayer).

@NevinLawrence My husband just got ordained last summer, so we haven’t gone either. Being a Pastor’s family has taken a bit of getting used to and we had a baby not long after ordination. 😂
