Today, I ran a half marathon in Portsmouth NH, Margarite Half Marathon, in honor of my niece Lindsey Beth Goldstein who was a bright light that continues to shine in our hearts and in our homes each day. Her spirit was with me every step of the way.💕🏃‍♀️🥉

A donation was made today for the Tilton School Library in memory of Lindsey Beth Goldstein from her grandparents, William and Joann Simes, her Uncle David, Auntie Beth and cousins, Connor and Austin Perry. She was an avid reader and worked with our Tilton families.📚💕

Retirement Challenge in Honor of My Niece Lindsey Beth Goldstein
I am asking each and everyone of you to show acts of kindness, random or not starting August 23rd which would have been my niece's 28th birthday and throughout the school year just like I am doing daily.

We wanted to share the work we did before and after watching HONK by our HHS pen pals. We loved the opportunity to watch it virtually and it was an amazing experience. We listened to a read aloud of the "The Ugly Duckling" to set the scene, sketched and then watched HONK🦆🦢🎭.

We wanted to recognize and celebrate Grace showing the "I" in KIND each and every day. We are so proud of her making her school community and classroom community feel special each day. Way to go Grace!

One of our class focuses or mission is to show kindness to each other in our classroom community and beyond our classroom doors. Avery made special pictures and craft bracelets for her friends in the classroom just because she wanted to show them, she cared. I❤️ acts of kindness!

Learning from each other is a powerful teaching tool. Students connect with their classmates remotely to share their knowledge and to show what they know! Blake took picture of spring to share and Avery wrote what happens in springtime! Jackson took photos, too! Way to go!🐯

You know that "Snack Talks" inspire students to try different things like oranges, cantaloupe, apples and almonds. Healthy snacks are fun to try!🍊🍏🥝

Tigers make healthy snack choices at home and talk about it using "Snack Talk" sentence frames to share what they have and describe it to others. Snacks can be sweet, salty or healthy and making different choices are always fun!🍎🍿🍪

HOP ON POP! by Dr. Seuss was a great way to write and illustrate in our Response Journal! Writing about reading is a great way to show your understand of a book!📚✍️

Students write about their reading of "HOP ON POP!" by sharing their opinion about the book and add reasons to support their thinking. Opinions are important and sharing your thinking let's others understand what you think.🤔

Students listen to "The Cat In The Hat" by Dr. Seuss. Then,
they write and draw what they would do if Thing One and Thing Two came to their house!🐈‍⬛🎩

You know when a student connects with a topic and learning takes place when he brings something he made at home that connects with what we are working on in class. Presidents from the past and history comes alive with this great picture of George Washington as a soldier!
