2-3 STEM Club. W talked about the history of triangles and how to find the perimeter of a triangle. Students found the perimeter with the activity “Magic Triangle”. They used cubes to help them find sides of 9. It’s not as easy as it looks! @hitchcock_mps @MillardPS

Today in K-1 STEM club we made pantographs and used them to practice drawing 2D shapes! Love these kids’ brains and their excitement for learning! @hitchcock_mps @MillardPS @gr8mpstech @Parks_1st

We had an amazing HAL workshop today with Ms. Julie. HAL reading students made paper collage animals in this workshop. We are going to show them off at Dessert & Display with their creative stories to match their creative animal! @hitchcock_mps @ESU3 @MillardPS

4-5 STEM Club! Today we learned about casein plastic and polymers. We turned milk into plastic by adding vinegar to change the pH levels. Each student got to make their own shape to take home after they dry and harden! @hitchcock_mps @MillardPS @JSchwartzMPS

K-1 STEM club today! We learned about how animal adaptations help them survive from predators. We played a candy camouflage game to model mimicry and then we camouflaged an animal in their habitats. @hitchcock_mps @Parks_1st @MillardPS
