@KyWhitney Absolutely. My voice is of no real importance, but I denounced him weeks ago and wholeheartedly encourage everyone, but especially Dems, to do the same after today’s reporting.
@0Beanie05923291 It was deeply disheartening when I learned that fellow librarians do this. However, many have been forced to serve as their school’s Chromebook repair person which means that hours of their day are spent resolving those issues while simultaneously being responsible for classes.
Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don't talk about it.
@creation247 I have many grievances about public ed as a twenty year teacher and would have chosen homeschool for my own kids had I had any. Even so, the nightmare presented here is thankfully NOT accurate everywhere including my school. I do fear the sharp downward trajectory, though.
@JDVance People are attempting in vain to helpfully correct what they believe must be your genuine misunderstandings—as though perhaps you honestly didn’t see the footage correctly—when in reality you of course already know better. YOU. KNOW. You simply have not a shred of decency.
@KyWhitney Using it to my advantage at the moment in my library by challenging students to read a chapter book and then copy the complete text of pages six and seven using their best handwriting. I’ve had so many entries. 😂
@antipharmagirl@teachthemx3 Holy hell. No. The class he’s failing could be the first class of the day and/or a challenging subject for the student, and other teachers could be passing him to avoid conflict and extra unpaid work like this teacher is now required to give a kid who chose to cheat and sleep.
