In PE, the Hedgehogs have started ‘Real Dance’. On Thursday they had a go at mirroring their partners standing and floor shapes. We had a really focussed session. Well done Hedgehogs! @Create_Dev

As part of their Winter Wonderland topic, the Hedgehogs created their own chilly artwork. They used colours associated with the cold and painted onto tin foil to make a winter effect @Cornerstonesedu

The Year 1 children have started their next science topic on exploring everyday materials. Here they area sorting a selection of objects by the material they are made from! We then moved on to using a Venn Diagram to aid their sorting task @DevelopExperts

Reception have been looking at the features of fiction and non fiction books. Here they are having a sort of some of our class books by using the contents and index pages. They did a fab job!

The Year 1 Hedgehogs have been exploring the first steps of coding. Here they are creating their own set of instructions using coding blocks. W went on to create her own symbols for instructions using art straws @purpleMash

Raising awareness through @WorldCPDay today. The children all wore green and we finished the day off with our Wild Wednesday session. Our newly laid path has certainly made our woodland sessions more accessible for all! @walton_primary
