It is such a dark time. my love and thoughts are with everyone who feels like they cannot take one more loss. Hold on to everything that gives you purpose and don’t let go.
“Okay, google” also works.
I did it by accident when I told students they could ask Siri or Alexa to define a vocab word, but then it went downhill when I realized I held way more power than they meant for me to possess. Mwahahaha!
OMAHA! We have until mid October to move COVID rates waaaaaaay down. This is a rare second chance to prove that we really care about children and education. Please have mercy on these kids, teachers, and parents. #thankyoudrlogan
@jonlandis had some great thoughts this morning on the future of education. Wow. Wow. Wow. I’m so excited to work with young people again and use some of these ideas. @OPS_LoganSupt

I have completed my challenge of reading 50 books in 2019 with 3 hours and 49 minutes to spare! I guess I better crack open my next book, then. 📖❤️ https://t.co/VgyGAEpTdd
A student sending me their 2-page paper about how I inspired them to become a teacher. Spoiler: it wasn't because I taught them reading skills, but because I advocated for and supported them. A good reminder of my "why."
Teachers/Educators,
What was your best/most memorable moments of 2019? (Don’t use the student’s name)
I’ll start: A student thanking me for always encouraging her to pursue cosmetology and helping her get an internship at a friend’s salon.
