Friday the 13th was a Halifax bomber serving with 158 Squadron during the Second World War. She flew a total of 128 missions, more than any other Halifax aircraft. The unusual name was given to the plane after 158 Squadron had several aircraft with the registration F shot down.

Huge thanks to our eco-council for organising our fantastic ‘Go Green’ Day today! Unbelievable donations! Final amount to be announced next week. All money will go towards buying and planting trees in our new Forest School area!

We did it! We have made our very own crisp packet, survival blanket, sleeping bag. After researching the work of ‘The Iron Man’ charity, the children have decided to place crisp packet collection boxes in our dinner halls.
