@lindahaslett @fordnation There are days they won't even get my Nonna out of bed because of how understaffed they are. My dad shows up and she is lethargic in bed with no food or water. My Nonna has my dad. What about the other individuals who don't?

Ms. Wideman from Dairy Farmers Ontario came to visit us virtually this week! We learned about healthy eating and the food groups. We especially loved the game of tic-tac-toe! Thank you Ms. Wideman and @DairyFarmersON

Last week, we read a beautiful book about a girl who loves her bindis.The very next day, for the very first time, one of our gr 1s came to school wearing her bindi. These are the moments that continue to remind me of the importance of culturally relevant texts. I ❤ these moments
