Our @TTRockStars themed Math Day is off in full swing with a whole school online battle!! Who will be crowned the ultimate rockstar class?🤘🎸 @WeAreCumnor @CognitaSchools
Year 3 have been learning about Marie Curie, so we decided to create our own x-rays using black card and coloured straws. We think all x-rays should be as colourful as ours!!
For #WorldBookDay Year 3 wrote and published their own senses poems. The girls chose a topic and tried their best to include some rhyming! Super proud! @WeAreCumnor
Year 3 dressed as what they want to be when they’re older to match the theme of ‘growing together’ for #childrensmentalhealthweek ! We had artists, explorers, gymnasts and even another Miss Dunnell🎉👩🏻🏫
The introduction of our ‘waiting room’ has been a huge success. Gone are the days of waiting in a line or sitting with your hand up to ask a question! Girls are able to take a number and carry on with another task instead, truly making the most of their time in lesson! #win
In PSHE, Year 3 discussed the difference between helpful and unhelpful thoughts. Our new classroom superheroes will help us change our negative thoughts into positive thoughts! 🦹🏽♀️🦸🏼♀️
Super excited to add these amazing books to my classroom’s book corner! Can’t wait for the girls to have a read and learn some valuable skills. #edutwitter#wellbeing#mentalhealth
So happy to find out the theme of Children’s Mental Health Week 2022 is ‘Growing Together’. After the crazy few years we’ve had, I think this will be so useful for the children and adults involved! My mind is buzzing with ideas for February! #edutwitter#mentalhealth
So proud of my Global Be Well Day I ran at school to promote positive physical and mental health! The girls had so much fun! @WeAreCumnor@Headshipjourney @CognitaSchools @bkerrwellbeing
In PSHE today, Year 3 spoke about what ‘family’ means to them. We discussed different types of family and why they are important. Fantastic conversations being had! @WeAreCumnor @CognitaSchools
