Last week Primary 1 and 2 sang some songs and entertained some special VIP guests as a thank you to all the wonderful people who come and help us in school during our special Cream Tea afternoon organised by @MrsADonnelly and the House Captains. #DunipaceCitizenship

Tuesday was our final house assembly of the year. A huge thank you to our current Captains and Vice Captains, you have been wonderful. You are all ACE at Dunipace and were great ambassadors to our school. Well done 👏 👍 Congratulations to this weeks and months worthy winners.

On Wednesday we had our whole school trip to the beach. P2 had a fantastic time on the sand, paddling, finding shells & sea creatures. We even had ice lollies as a treat 😋Apart from 1 brief shower, the sun shone all day for us 🏖️🪣🐚🌞🦀🌊🪼#DunipaceUNCRC

On Tuesday, P2 had a football session with Ben from Stemhousemuir football club ⚽🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️⚽ They were speedy in their team games & all showed great skills by dribbling & scoring 👕 🩳 👟 👟

P2 planted seeds & created minibeast pot homes as part of their Nature Reserve Garden idea. They checked packets to learn when they'd start to grow & how tall. Lots of veg & herb seeds were planted too. Thanks P5 who came to help us @DunipaceSTEM @_MissMcKechnie_ 🌳🌼🪱🪵🐌🌸🐛🌿

P2 have been investigating where some fruit & veg we buy are grown. We learned about food miles & couldn't believe how far some items came to get to our local shops. We discovered that lots of items can be grown in Scotland instead #DunipaceIDL #DunipaceSTEM

P2 had a brilliant time in their Science Centre workshop this week. They explored the human body, tried to improve their reaction times, used their coordination & balance skills & learned more about how our body's work 🧬 🧠 👁️ 🦵🏻💓 #DunipaceSTEM @gsc1

We learned more about SDG6: Clean Water & Sanitation. Ask us about our challenge with the buckets of water outside 🪣 💦
Goal 6 links to Article 24: the right to health care & access to clean drinking water. We saw pictures of some places who don't have this access yet @SDG2030

We had a lovely assembly to give a huge thank you and best of luck to our school janitor, Mr. Straiton, as he moves into his secondment within the council. Your hard work and dedication have been truly appreciated by all of us!
