I was speechless at my 3 year old daughter’s parents evening to see that she is judged on her ability to use a tablet at pre school… am I disadvantaging her because I haven’t bought her one?? 🤯

Interviewed for an AAP pastoral role today. I was unsuccessful but enjoyed the process and got really useful feedback for future. The role went to someone much more experienced than me, having only been HOY for 6 months, but was also reassured that I’m doing a great job 🙌

@PatriciaOLynn @tombennett71 The perception of a child/family of why someone has been suspended is often wildly different from the actual reason… the wrong shoes may have started the problem but there must have been a reason for escalation such as how a student responded to consequences for the wrong shoes

@WhistleblowingT I was in the same position, and had a face to face conversation with my head very early on who was incredible about it, and most importantly kept it confidential. They have been very understanding about any time I’ve had to have off, hope you get the same treatment
