Teachers' plates were already overloaded before the pandemic and the massive teacher shortage. Districts have to find ways to lessen the unrealistic expectations.
Teachers know their why. It's the students. They often stay for them and are the main thing they miss if they leave. They don't need to be reminded of their why or that its all about the students. They just need support, encouragement, & appreciation, which is the Admin's why.
Teachers don't leave because it's hard. Teachers are some of the hardest working professionals I know. They leave because the expectations become more unrealistic every year.

I am glad everyone is supportive of entertainers, athletes, etc. when they focus on their mental health. But, wouldn't it be great if these same people cared about the mental health of educators. You know the ones who really make a difference in the lives of our youths everyday!
If you don't think taking care of our teachers is priority #1, then what is education going to do when there is no one left to actually teach the students?
