Culminating activity for our Rainforest EL Module 2 unit - Opinion Writing discussing “Should we continue using rainforest resources?” Students will collaboratively write a 5 paragraph essay to present their opinion.

During today’s s EL lesson, I asked students to doodle the setting & characters actions while reading aloud the chapter “Las Cebollas” in our novel “Esperanza Rising”. Their oral comprehension skills & sketches blew me away! Thanks for the idea Brenda Laboffe-Pierson!
