The class indulged in a book tasting this week. On the menu- biographies and autobiographies. A good book will leave a great taste in your mouth. All puns intended. #ReadMore#LMUSD#OVEmpower
Writing doesnโt have to be done or taught in solitude. Our introduction to personal narrative today was collaborative and engaging! I love to see them hooked into the lesson! #LMUSD#6thgraderocks
No one talks about how much you miss your students after they move on, my 6th graders leave for middle school and I always look forward to seeing them out in the community. I accidentally posted on an old Google Classroom and the comments flooded in. It was good for the soul!
Hey #teachertwitter and teacher supporters! I haven't had much time for Twitter lately but I have a new pinned post! ๐ For a ๐ anyone? I'll do you after you do me! So fun to do art with my kindergarten students this week! #clearthelist
@fritzchem336 @ryanr_lester @SurthrivEDU This is where the struggle lies, because ultimately who will be more successful? Ultimately isnโt this what is most important? The student who consistently turns in their work, but struggles a bit to get there, or a child that understands, but chooses not to do whatโs required?
How can we teach cultural diversity through the standards? So many ways, but Social Studies and ELA are my two favorites. Students and their family members treated us to a lesson in the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah. #DiversityandInclusion
