I was too busy celebrating with this class to take photos of all their hard work decorating and planning behind the scenes for their gr 8 farewell. They’re nothing short of amazing. It’s bitter sweet to see them move on to new adventures!

Thanks to Abigail, we were nominated and won Classroom of the Month from the radio station! All the kids got Gatorade, a box of granola bars, a banana and KFC. So lucky! Thank you! @PDaleSchool

Board games, bowling, ice cream, and a huge waterfight for the end of year field trip day. They were all soaked, so it was a success. Only 6 more days left of gr 8 for this incredible class! @PDaleSchool

Track and Field Day was the best! Half of the grade 8’s helped with events and half participated. The fire truck soak was such a nice way for them to cool down after. Thanks to Ryan and Mandy Irwin for running the other group in our class! @PDaleSchool

On the way home from our boat race, we stopped to get slurpees at 7-11. I think they’ll think twice about getting XL slurpees again!

We made a mess today and did some planting! One student comment, “a whole tomato plant is going to grow from this one little seed?” Why yes, yes it is. I can’t wait for them to see. @PDaleSchool

Music Festival Assembly! It feels so good to be all together again. These grade 8’s haven’t performed for 2 YEARS for an audience and they did a great job. @PDaleSchool
