Cousins Ember & Alice attended the statue unveiling of Alice Thomasson in Moses Gate. Alice was the only Bolton woman to be killed in action (WW1). They think it is important the other children in their schools visit & learn out this brave lady. @prestolee_1911 @StSaviourCE

This is where it all begins.... our Training Band nurtures young (& not-so-young!) players, giving them the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. Our players develop resilience & confidence by playing solos - we even have father & daughter duos!! #brassband
