Third grade researchers did a great job learning all about an animal! The presentations were amazing, and we had so much fun sharing our projects with other classes!
Thanks @cabyington for coming in to introduce Graham Fletcher’s building fact fluency routine with a three act task! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings 🤩
Readers dug into the texts to justify a character trait using books we know and love. Naming traits is easy, but focusing on the “because” is tough. These collaborators worked together to find the why!
These independent readers are building stamina! After discussing what independent reading should look like and sound like, we practiced. Can’t wait to see what these readers do tomorrow!
Feeling lucky to be back with these sweet kids! Searched for 4 leaf clovers at recess ☘️ and this surprise gift from a student was just perfect. So happy to be back with this incredible class!
Today we set goals for how we can be kind kids over the weekend and @CamelotFlame was spotted! So excited to bring #Bethekindkid to Virginia @ja_poff, and Brody want everyone to be kind too! We can’t wait to hear how you showed kindness over the weekend!
Today, we reflected on things we were thankful for. I am thankful for technology that allows me to build relationships with my students virtually (even through a power outage today!) I couldn’t ask for a better group of students #thankfulteacher
These engaged readers identified their thoughts, feelings and wonderings after reading Too Many Tamales. We love using google jamboard to see our classmates’ engagement with the book! The collaboration and thinking is outstanding 👏🏼
I hope you enjoyed the car parade as much as I did 🤗 Congrats on finishing 3rd grade! I will miss you all so much, so proud of your accomplishments! Have a great summer, dragons!
