This week, scientists learned about the five components of soil and tested to see how much water each can hold. We love science!

Writers shared their small moment personal narratives with the class. We loved being on “stage” to clearly read our stories to our classmates!

Readers dug into the texts to justify a character trait using books we know and love. Naming traits is easy, but focusing on the “because” is tough. These collaborators worked together to find the why!

We were so excited to learn that solving our story problems using manipulatives is actually solving multiplication problems! This makes math fun!

Today we set goals for how we can be kind kids over the weekend and @CamelotFlame was spotted! So excited to bring #Bethekindkid to Virginia @ja_poff, and Brody want everyone to be kind too! We can’t wait to hear how you showed kindness over the weekend!

Today, we reflected on things we were thankful for. I am thankful for technology that allows me to build relationships with my students virtually (even through a power outage today!) I couldn’t ask for a better group of students #thankfulteacher
