K2 has some interesting visitors! We have been learning about snails. We helped build a habitat and get to watch them eat. They really like cucumbers! π
Our very survival depends on bees & other pollinators.
From food security and livelihoods to biodiversity β these tiny heroes play a vital role for #ForNature & humanity.
Letβs raise awareness & create some buzz on Saturdayβs #WorldBeeDay.

Over the last few weeks we have been observing and learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. It was so exciting to watch them fly away to the many dandelions on the school lawn. ππ¦
K2 had a great time on our walk this morning! We hunted for worms and used our math brains to measure how long worms were. We listened carefully to see if we could hear the birds and guess which birds we heard. #OCSBkinder#ocsbmath#ocsboutdoors@MrsVachonRECE@StBenedictOCSB
We researched how to make a worm farm. We discovered that worms needs sand to help breakdown their food because they donβt have teeth. We layered soil, sand and dry leaves. Last we covered the jar with dark paper. We canβt wait to see the worm tunnels!
