Great work from the new S3 Graphics class finishing up their robot projects before summer. They got super creative designing components to assemble around a standard body so there's an amazing range of robot designs!
Some of our brilliant Technologies pupils had a shot on flight simulators today! Massive thanks to the staff @gsc1 and the Newton Flight Academy for teaching them how to use these really cool rigs in the Newton Flight Academy ✈️ @WCHSTechnology
At the top is the logo a pupil made for their first N5 Graphics project. With the same brief a year later as a Higher pupil he came up with four more. I love that they are still similar but you can see his confidence with the software and his style develop!
@MissWrightTech DM me your email and I'll send over a copy, but honestly it was just 20 text boxes with 20 questions in it and the kids got a blank table as a worksheet to fill in numbered 1-20, the only real prep was finding the hiding spots
Welcome to N5 PWW- have a revision quiz scavenger hunt! This worked so so well, every kid on task determined to find all the questions hidden around the workshop, they traded answers, helped each other! Perfect. And I got to check everyone new to my class knew the fundamentals
I'm singling out Kelly's tea light holder that was finished today. Done entirely by hand and it's as precise as some that were laser cut. I think it's the cutest thing I've seen in weeks! @WCHSTechnology
Got some finished D+M tealight holders, used them as a discussion point for how we can be happy with what we made but how do we raise our game next year to achieve N4/N5 levels of complexity, quality and creativity @WCHSTechnology
Having a shot with AI generated doodle game (Curipod) with S2 to promote creativity on the last day. Pupils draw then share and vote on the winning drawing. The anonymity on the pupil side really encouraged them to engage but I can keep track of who does what, which is great
Got some finished cereal boxes from S2 today. They've created their designs for mascots using the shape tools and different fill and shadow effects. Next we need to justify colour choices and font choices @WCHSTechnology
