Today we have been supporting our Health and Social students with career advice and guidance with the MELISSA NHS Training and Simulation Bus. A huge thank you to the Cumbria Health on call Staff and @NCICNHS Staff and also Stephen and Nigel from @MadeinMelissa#Careers#NHS
Brilliant afternoon skiing with Scafell… we were off piste, jumping, improving our tekkers, smashing some challenging reds and falling over... A LOT!! Well done!! @SkiCaldew
Helvellyn group got some miles in today 🙌🏻 they’re not happy that I only got them “snow ploughing” I thought they were brilliant! Lovely afternoon with them @SkiCaldew
Scafell group made loads of progress today, this was them starting out this morning, by the end of the day they were confidently skiing red runs! 🎿 @SkiCaldew
Finally made it through passport control and ferry leaves at 15.25. Staff couldn’t be prouder of the students and how well they have behaved. We’ve been on the go for 24 hours at this point!! Keep your fingers crossed for us 🤞
Considering we’ve been on the road since 3pm Friday we’ve got smiles and positivity… despite being totally fed up! Everyone’s taking it in their stride and doing us proud 🥰
Following severe delays at the port due to passport control, our bus was turned away and put on standby at approx 1am. We have just been called to return back to the cruise terminal. The next step will be going to the port to pass through passport control. Updates to follow
