Official Science Olympiad results! In their division @WyeRiverUpperS placed: 4th in Fossils, 5th in Water Quality, top 10 in Sounds of Music & Forensics. We also had a strong showing in competitive Write It Do It & Mousetrap Vehicle events. So proud! Can’t wait for next year!
I sort of failed on getting photos of @WyeRiverUpperS students today. But I am SO proud of our first ever @MDSciOly team! They showed up and competed with the big dawgs and held their own. Still don’t know the final placing, but watch out for us next year!!!
Psst... I probably shouldn’t be sharing these #topsecret Rube Goldberg machines, but I’m pretty proud of the phys science students for successfully testing their first few components! #science#rubegoldberg
Biology students are practicing their experimental design skills by testing the effects of different environmental conditions in brine shrimp hatching. And we have hatchlings!
Our @WyeRiverUpperS Director of Ed began a new tradition today. End our weekly faculty meetings with students’ successes. Little stuff, big stuff - Amazingly uplifting. @KimberleighN@MrsWaltonWRUS#whydidntIthinkofthat
