We’ve been learning about the life cycle of a chicken. The kids were so excited to come in to some sweet little chicks this morning! We’ve been patiently waiting for our eggs to hatch all month! @HumbleISD_ASE@RRobinson_ASE@AmandaPrice001@KLAfyounizadeh
Reader’s Theater! We’ve highlighted our scripts and started practicing our lines. Next, we will create our backdrops and masks. Next week we will perform for our kindergarten buddies! @KWhite_ASE @HumbleISD_ASE@AmandaPrice001@KLAfyounizadeh
We’ve amped up our writing with these self editing checklists. I’ve seen major improvements and the kids are proud of their work! @KWhite_ASE @HumbleISD_ASE@Humble_ElemELA@AmandaPrice001
Holidays around the world. By far, one of my favorite units! We packed our bags, passports, and boarding passes and set off for France! We learned about their traditions, made a craft, and ate a tasty snack!
Visualizing! Students listened to a story without seeing the pictures, created mental images & drew what they imagined, did a gallery walk to see how our mental images are different than others, then compared it to the story. @KWhite_ASE @HumbleISD_ASE@Humble_ElemELA
