I'm an 8th grade algebra teacher. Math is my passion! I'm also a wife to a handsome, funny, smart, chemistry teacher and mother to 4 sweet little ones.
@meyst_h @jcorippo @edcampOSjr @AMAYAzing_T3@KVoge71 I came upon this article that shows examples of “semi-synchronous” instruction. As a teacher I found it sparked a lot of ideas for me. https://t.co/Ryt5r9zOFr

Today I closed down my classroom for the year so they could start summer cleaning. Seeing our last lessons still on the whiteboard was strange. Missing my 8th graders.
I had an optional Zoom today, 10 8th graders joined. If they only knew that I had tears in my eyes when I ended the meeting...that seeing them made me feel like all my long hours are making a difference...that seeing them made my day. #d24inspires#imissmystudents#8thgrade2020
#newnormal#needmorecoffee#4kids my new normal is waking up before my kids and staying up way later than my body wants to in order to find some peace to work on lessons.
@clemsoncory@RCEMiddle Love it! We just finished solving by graphing last week, but I will definitely be trying to create something like this with our school map for next year! So creative!
