Students participated in oral vowel discrimination. Afterwards, each child reflected on how well they felt they could distinguish between the /a/ and /i/ sounds.
As we wrapped up our Five Senses unit, we were lucky to welcome Korbin’s dad, Mr. Kammer, who shared the challenges he faces and the tools he uses to navigate with limited vision. Thank you for giving our students such a meaningful, real-world connection! @AACountySchools
Congratulations Ms. Sweitzer!!! We will miss your sunshine ☀️ in the kindergarten hall but know that you’ve touched the lives of so many children during your tenure with AACPS. Keeping spreading joy everywhere you go and enjoy retirement!
Thank you Mrs. Ridgely’s class for allowing us to visit and telling us all about 1st grade! We enjoyed asking the students questions and are excited to become 1st graders soon.
Thank you @SolleyAACPS and our amazing PTA for a week full of love, yummy food, extra planning time, games, fun and lots of appreciation. Students were able to buy flowers for teachers and staff all week and it really brightened our days!❤️🌸
