She is a finalist for the 2026 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards—an incredible honor recognizing educators who go above and beyond for their students and communities.

She was surprised on campus today by H-E-B representatives with a $1,000 check.

As a finalist, she advances to compete at the state level, where she has the chance to win $10,000 and an additional $15,000 for her school. Winners will be announced in May.

✨ What a great day with our student leaders at the @J_Renaissance Fight Forward event! ✨

We joined schools from across the Gulf Coast region to share ideas, build connections, and celebrate the power of school spirit. Our Jaguars had a blast learning alongside PC, Chu, and other @FortBendISD schools, as well as middle and high schools from across the area. 🐾

We came back inspired and ready to brainstorm new ways to keep Sartartia Middle School the best middle school in Texas. The future is bright, and the nation is watching—Jag Pride never stops! 💛🖤
