Xavion Alford: The Enforcer in the Desert
For Arizona State Sun Devils football, Alford brings the kind of presence every defense needs on the back end. Range over the top. Aggressive. Smart. Always flying to the football.
Is Xavion Alford one of the most underrated DBs in
Xavion Alford had to battle through a lot of adversity in college, and his confidence is sky-high following his pro day:
"Still the same guy, here to stay. It doesn't matter what happens, injuries, NCAA. If I'm on the field, it's gonna be elite production. Every time."
Xavion Alford could have came back to ASU for another season, but offered some insight into his decision to declare for the NFL Draft:
"It was hard because of his place. I felt like after 2024 I was ready for the next level. But coming back (for 2025), assembling that same team we had, I just wanted to come back and be with those guys for one more year. But I feel like now (declaring in 2026), it's the time. I know now that I'm ready to step up to the challenge."
