Currently laying in hospital bed recovering from an operation. Can’t sleep and now light from corridor shining in my eyes. Trying to pretend I’m on a sun lounger with the sun shining on my face but my mind is having none of it!

Up early so went outside to hang the washing. Five large crows on neighbours roof all ‘talking’ and calling. Could hear another one further away replying. Then a seagull on my roof started. Can birds understand birds of another type?? Is it like us having accents? #birds
Reading reports and adding HT comments. Started off with a break after every ten reports, now down to taking a mini break after every five. Will soon start snacking or some other reward!
This holiday would be a good time to chat to your child about their social media use. Even better, sit with them and their phone and talk about who they follow and why and what’s in their FYP and why. Just as you would if they started hanging out with a new friend I suspect. 1/2
