Alec was part of May Basket delivery when he wasn’t even old enough to get out of the baby seat & help.
Here he is on his 32nd May Day… today he made a list of 25 local families, used his own $$ to purchase flowers, and delivered them all with first time enthusiasm!🌸

We are still taking orders through Monday!!
The basket below is an example of what we will be delivered. The flowers on the right are the actual flowers for this year. I just picked them up!!

Building cultures of empathy, hope and service. “Empty your backpack”, by Sam Demma, keynote speaker.
One of the most important choices you make in life is the people you let influence you.
The most important possession we carry is the belief about what others think of you.
Thanks again to these 7 great helpers!
We served and cleaned up the banquet for our CTSO partner, FFA, this evening!
Lots of full tummies at the Huck Boyd Center tonight!!
Thanks @KansasBeef for helping us finance this lab… Grilled Steak Kabobs. We marinated our beef for 24 hours. Students chose their side items: mushrooms, onions, pineapple, green pepper or yellow pepper. They used their knife skills and learned to use our awesome indoor grills.
Foundations of Early Childhood engaged in learning how play offers children the opportunity to learn and practice new skills.
We’ve read about 11 Types of Play.
We’ve watched videos about play.
Today we actually engaged in PLAY. This sensory activity took us back in time!!
Today we prepared the MOST requested recipe of all FCS students and families.
We practiced preparing a cream sauce, timing al dente pasta, and serving our dish to a favorite teacher.

This exercise helps them prepare for their upcoming internships at various locations.

Taryn Sides of Phillipsburg HS, a former 2x 3A POY and Top 5 selection from Sports in Kansas, had an incredible game for Kansas State womens basketball last night. The sophomore had 17 points, four assists and 12 rebounds in the 90-53 win over Cincinnati on the road. You may think how does a 5’6” to 5’7” ish player grab 12 boards in a D1 contest with 6’0”-6’5” players all over the place? Not surprising to anyone who covered her in high school as one of the most complete players you’ll see. #sportsinkansas
📢Did you know that February is National CTE Month?
