Book #5 of summer: The Liars Society: A Secret Escape by @AlysonGerber. THE BEST ONE IN THE SERIES YET! Finished it in a day. I cannot wait for the next one. When can I pre-order?? #truthovereverything
Book #4 of summer: The Crucible by Arthur Miller. Reread this one for the first time since I read it as a high school junior, and it was as good as I remembered.
Books should challenge us and compel us to think about ourselves and our world—how we are all connected and our role within the greater community that is our humanity.
This is what it’s all about to me. In a time when the education system demands results and analyzes data, I think this serves as a reminder that students should always come first, relationships foster learning, and literacy shouldn’t be limited to excerpts. #readmorenovels
Book #7 of the school year: Coldwire by @thechloegong. Absolutely phenomenal. Unlike anything I’ve ever read and I loved the twists. Could not recommend this book more for the world we currently live in!
Book #6 of the school year: East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Read it for the 3rd time, and had a few AP seniors also choose to read it this semester! #timshel
