Day 4: to increase engagement: I give choices on how they best learn, where to sit, the kind of chairs that want to sit in. Include movement, use Kagan Structures, it’s a balancing act to keep kindergartners engaged 😊#FISDStrategyStuffers @FisdLearns

A day late 😊 Greeting students at the door, hug or high five on the way out. Each week we have a ‘star student’ to learn more about them then we create a book for them to keep. 60 and 90 second break questions to make connections. 💙 #fisdstrategystuffers @FisdLearns

Conferences are a great way to personalize experiences and create learning goals together. Seesaw is another great tool that helps adding specific assignments to work on and communicate with families on progress #FISDStrategyStuffers @FisdLearns

Some strategies I use to promote a positive environment: treats in our treat jar, stickers on individual 10 frames, secret student, review expectations with our daily slides that stay up as a visual reminder. Our class treatment agreement. #FISDStrategyStuffers @FisdLearns
