@BiologyPaige@DeborahGatrell1 Google classroom generates a spreadsheet of scores. I copy and paste from that spreadsheet. That makes late-work a beast. So I am that mean teacher only updates late-work once a week.
A6: Only grading one skill per assessment makes a huge difference. Since I teach ELA, I plan goals that overlap so that we can practice new skills and strategies in different ways. #UTedChat
@BiologyPaige@DeborahGatrell1 I don’t know if this fits the need you mentioned. But I just started using rubrics through too Google beta programs. I can add rubrics to my Google Classroom assignments or create and assignment through Google Assignments and attach rubrics. https://t.co/IVAorgBHBn
@Brandi12963032 Thanks! This is how I unit plan. I have corresponding 9 week grids with the learning activities and assessments that build towards the goals.
@DeborahGatrell1 For example, I code assignments based on the goal that assessment will be graded for. Like L#3 was graded for how students annotated and explained figurative language and that only.
Can’t wait to see what my students create using @jmattmiller instagram stories template. I’m thinking, “What if you just found out you’re a healthy typhoid carrier like Mary Mallon?”
