First graders at Alexander Wilson used marshmallows and pretzel sticks to count ones and tens. They realized that using one pretzel stick is more efficient than counting ten marshmallows. Snacks make math more fun for everyone!

Summer reading camp was simply FIN-tastic! We enjoyed sharks all day and even had some blue jello with fishy gummies for a snack! I’ll miss these official 3rd graders! Hope they keep up the great work this summer!

Moments like HS graduation is the perfect reminder of why I love being a teacher! Nothing better than hugging grown up 1st graders and telling them how very proud I am! 🥰
