Can we remember.... they are human beings. Fearfully & wonderfully made. We shouldn't need reminding of their achievements to call out the wrongness of racial abuse. Its not what they do which makes them worthy. It's inherent in their humanity.
Can we remember...
Marcus Rashford is 23, raised £200m for kids to eat last year.
Jadon Sancho is 21, opened up new football pitches for those in the suburbs of London.
Bukayo Saka is 19, a voice for the youth of football today & helping local communities.

‘I wonder if there any image more beautiful than the embrace of the one who trains, equips, releases you & when you fail, reminds you that your value comes from who you are not what you did.’ @yardleysarah#Euros2021
It's the prayer at the end for me 🔥😭UK peeps esp but really everyone in general.. in this 5min vid @communik8ion drops some truth, wisdom, science (what's happening in our brains during this changing/uncertain times), & guidance. Go 'head & bless yourself by watching ♥️
Whatever you think about the wisdom of the #release of #restrictions (in England on July 19th), this is a BIG change!
Here's why this is so hard, & a pause/prayer to remember God is there for us in chaotic times, ever stable and reliable.

@janeelisabethh It seems to me her parents are *not* calling it trauma to cover up *their* feelings of guilt, shame & mistakes. So glad she is in a healthy relationship - absolutely what she should get to be in & enjoy!
Also here... links between this and impact of family history/generational trauma on positive life experiences? Or am I stretching it a bit too far now?? #footbal#psychology
Ghosts from the past play a role for performance today. If your team lost in preceding shootout(s), you’re more likely to miss your current shot; if your team won, you’re more likely to score. Valid also if not personally involved in past events. (7/13) https://t.co/RedZ4y9jYb
Not particularly into football BUT this psychological insight into penalty shoot outs? I am here for it.🔥
#mindset Is this what Bible is pointing towards in Philippians "whatever is good, true, lovely... think on such things?"
Positive mind helps! Players who need to score to not instantly lose score 62% of their shots, while 92% of shots where goals instantly give a win are scored. Players also prepare quicker and turn gaze away more on high-stress instantly-lose shots. (5/13) https://t.co/4eWOZxCo5S
Both Christians had an impact on my way of thinking about money/ministry/people. The example of the second Christian is the one I try to emulate as often as I can.
😫😫 whhhhyy is this so?
Does it have something to do with a weird attitude/relationship to the monies in general as Christians? Neither a prosperity gospel mindset nor a scarcity mindset seem to be serving us well...
When I first set out in ministry and was living from gifts and a Christian I had asked to donate towards my salary said "hope you won't be spending my hard earned donation on shoes?" 😬 BUT another Christian also gave and said "this is for you to do something fun/special for you"
Parent: What's your son's name?
Me: Nehemia (Ne-Hay-Mee-Ah)
Parent: hmm, what's the short version? That's a bit too much to say.

This triggered me. Kinda done w the underlying assumption that it's my job to present the smaller version of myself for someone else's comfort/ease
