I never post on Twitter - professional lurker - but I have to share these. My proudest moment as HoD - book vending machines as part of whole school rewards #teamenglish#edutwitter
This has been a labour of love - my GCSE Worlds and Lives scheme is finished. I LOVED making these lessons and hope they are useful to someone. If you're thinking about switching anthologies, please do it - they're such lovely poems!! https://t.co/JKnZSWf2vs
Been a bit slow to upload resources to the Twittersphere, so here's the first of (hopefully) many that I've been working on...Paper 2, Q5 AQA on decriminalising drugs. https://t.co/rcVNTFLFTR
All credit for the slow writing goes to @SusanSEnglish - see her blog for more info!
As a new AP for Teaching and Learning, I can't tell you how useful this course has been. Thank you for the team @AE_Growing for the support and encouragement. #npq
@JenniferKillick Just to cheer you up, my son got his Blue Peter badge this week. He wrote about Crater Lake and produced a piece of artwork based on the cover. He loves your books.
@UnofficialOA I'm looking for an English teacher - an addition to an existing team to ease workload across the faculty. Our advert is open to every one, including staff who would like part time. I just want a great candidate.

A year ago my wee son Gabriel (12) was heartbroken to discover his love of woodwork was deemed uncool.
So in a bid to boost his insta followers (at the time a rather modest 6) Dad foolishly (?) reached out to the lovely people on twitter.
@Dogearedtatty I haven't seen a Robin for ages and then on Friday there was one on my windowsill looking straight at me on the 4 year anniversary of my dad's death. It was him. I just know it.
In a Tory world addicted to library closures, this is important and wonderful to see. Manchesterโs beautiful central library today. Packed with young people quietly studying @MancLibraries
We are adding to our team. Do you know a passionate English teacher that would love to work in a small school with big ideas, centralised planning and a minimal marking policy? Part-time considered for the right candidate. #teamenglish
