The parents of each student in my class are going to receive $50 more than my school board gave me to fund my classroom for the entire year. Make it make sense because it doesn't.
Today we continued Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope. Our school has been celebrating this annual event for the past 34 years and we have raised over $132,000! This year, we have raised $4,500 of our $5,000 goal! Thank you to everyone who donated to support cancer research.💛🙏👟
Happy #InternationalDotDay! Today we celebrated creativity AND we met author @peterhreynolds (virtually)! What a special treat to hear him read aloud “The Dot” and to get a sneak peak of the upcoming musical “Dot, Dot, Dot.”
No matter what may have happened today, tomorrow is always a chance to start fresh! I hope you take time to relax tonight and wake up with energy and optimism for a new day. #edchat
Celebrating Easter mass today. Even though we couldn’t all gather in one space, Jesus came to us spiritually to fill our ♥️ with his joy and his peace. Thank you Father Walter and everyone who helped organize such a beautiful celebration. Good truly is stronger than evil! ✝️
Working with modelling clay is way harder than it looks but these grade 2/3s persevered despite the sore thumbs! 👍🏼 @barbreidart thank you for inspiring us!
Lucky us, we got to be special guests for the LIVE read aloud of “The Sorry Life of Timothy Shmoe”. We even got to meet “Timothy Shmoe”! He sure writes a lot of sorry letters! @StTimothyLC
@fdk_donnaindra@Playfulinquiry I bought the Story Workshop book last year based on inspiration from one of your Tweets…now I just need to find time to read it!
Let me tell you about a session that we attended about stories... We learned that a story does not have to be written down and even if you don’t know how to read yet you could still tell stories! Stories are everywhere. @fdk_donnaindra, we are excited for part 2&3! 🗣
@corvinellia @PeelSchools@DPCDSBSchools No, unfortunately they didn’t…and they let teachers know about this change to remote learning instead of asynchronous at 8:45pm on Sunday night!
