2/2…Mr Dennis and I both enjoyed sitting with the children to have our lunches in the hall, and the staff loved meeting their new classes, sharing the beautiful new books and hearing all about the summer holidays.
I hope everyone has had a marvellous day!
1/2 Thank you to our super star children for a fantastic day! It was so lovely to see our whole school community together in assembly, working busily in their classrooms and hear them SING!
Mrs Bell did her first real-life whole school assembly…
Year 5 have been writing letters to the England Football Team. We just have to share Yashti’s with you all - isn’t it lovely to see such kindness from our wonderful children. It’s one of the things that makes @DorchesterP such a great place to be. #CaringCommunity#amazingwriting

Fabulous work from our teachers and learning support assistants delivering a blend of live and pre-recorded lessons using #googleclassroom. Great engagement from our amazing children.
Fantastic learning from our Nursery and Reception children this week - and lots of physical activity too with @gonoodle. Fantastic technology means children at school and home can join and dance together #achievingexcellence
Wonderful D and T from our youngest children this week as they designed homes for the animals that they adopted for Christmas - a sloth, a tiger and a penguin from @zsllondonzoo
Our Reception Children have learnt about similarities and differences between the Arctic and Antarctica this week - and the children in school made this amazing penguin colony as part of their learning. #achievingexcellence
Our Nursery children have enjoyed reading 'The Colour Monster' by @Anna_Llenas_ . and thinking about different emotions. They then made their own Colour Monsters using paint and cornflake cakes - yum!
