We used our WH tool to create an ‘I wonder’ question before reading.We discussed how the parade has evolved and showed a sequence using pictures. Lastly, each student made their own balloon idea
Middle school students learned what a rebus story was and had the opportunity to create their own stories.
Our 7th and 8th graders enjoyed completing a Spooky Mansion interactive web-quest where they needed to complete various reading activities in order to crack the code 🎃
