Early years is about children's development and care, as well as about their learning. The three aspects tend to be very closely intertwined and they are all important. This is part of why we don't have 'subjects' in the #EYFS and also why the prime areas are so fundamental.

If we don’t value those brilliant souls who inspire our kids in their early years then expanding hours won’t happen for anyone - the Tories refused to acknowledge how badly they have been treated. This government is honest about the scale of the challenge and the need to invest.

Fantastic turnout tonight at our Early Learners, Nursery, and Reception Meet the Teacher 24/25 event!

Parents/carers and children came together, met teachers and staff, and explored the learning environments before children join us in September 🌟

🌱🥔 Earlier this year, nursery children @NewSilksAcademy planted potatoes. The children have cared for the plants and observed changes over time. Today, they dug up the plants and were happy to see that with hard work, care, and patience potatoes will grow! 🌱🥔 #WeAreGrowing
