@MrMcGillTeach @warwickmansell 100% agree. If a school could leave a MAT, then there would be incentive for that MAT to do more to be the provider of choice. It is very very wrong that schools don’t have the freedom to leave if they are not happy.

@_chrisrossiter @warwickmansell If they don't "own" the schools, why can't schools leave a MAT if they're not satisfied? It seems very one-sided to say the least. If there was the option for a school to choose to leave then maybe the MAT would have some incentive to be the provider of choice?

@jenibarnacle @Headteacherchat I challenged it a few weeks back and was told we had to. Suggested just a simple title to organise the work…no, it has to be a LO written in the books. It sets so many children up to fail, is a massive stress for those who find writing a challenge. It’s just for visiting adults.
