What better way to enjoy #WorldBookDay2023 than with a trip to the Beano exhibition set up in the school library and then back to class to read our favourite books with a slice of homemade pizza. 😍🍕📚
P6 and P7 pupils working hard today to build models of their sustainable roads for the Academy 9 STEM project. We can’t wait to see the finished products! 👏

Our Digital Leaders are ready for Safer Internet Day 2023 tomorrow!
We can’t wait to see the @scratch animations created by you all. Stay tuned tomorrow to see who the winners of our competition are! 👀
@safeinternetday
A huge thank you to our wonderful P7 digital leaders for their support this morning. 🤩
P2 were very excited to make their own digital safety animations. 💻
For @safeinternetday next week, our Digital Leaders have created a competition for the whole school- make an animation with a ‘stay safe online’ message. We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!
See their coded animation below for more details. 👇
Good luck! 🤩
Some of our P7 Glee Club members have been busy learning sign language for part of their second song for the @FrissonScot regional heats competition.
Today, they recorded a tutorial video to share on Teams with the other members to help them practice at home. 🎤🎶
On today’s menu in P7B;
- Black bean chilli tacos with guacamole & salsa 🌮
- Mini beef burgers with homemade buns 🍔
- Sushi 🍱
- Baked ham & cheese brioche 🥐
We have some seriously good chefs in P7 👌
P7B had the chance to attend an ‘Art of Listening’ workshop today at The Hub as part of the @edintfest.
It was a brilliant trip and it was impressive hearing the thoughtful responses generated about what the pupils were listening to. Some budding musicians in P7 perhaps…🎼
This week, P7 have been working on character description in writing. We decided to take a well known character and give the character a twist. We shared some of our pieces with the P5s today and they have now been inspired to write their own.
We can’t wait to read them! 🤩
Very proud of our P7 Digital Leaders who planned and delivered a ‘Scratch’ coding workshop for the P4/5s today. After just an hour, the creations made were fantastic! Both creativity and problem solving skills being developed.

A massive well done to this amazing P7 pupil who organised a World Cup sweepstake for his family and friends and donated half of the money he made to the St Ninian’s Primary School family fund!
He presented the cheque to Mr McCann at assembly this morning.
What a superstar!👏
Who had more fun, P1 or P7?!
P7B had a great afternoon in Primary 1, helping them to make peppermint creams, sew hand puppets and build marvellous creations. 🤩
We can’t wait to come back after the holidays!
