We enjoyed reading our new books provided by the @ChelseaEducFndn! These books will help us learn and appreciate a variety of cultures and backgrounds. With this CEF grant we were able to purchase over 200 culturally diverse books for our 7 kindergarten classrooms. Thank you!
Students worked on the 4C’s with our buddy classroom. They communicated a plan, collaborated to build the tallest snowman, used their critical thinking skills to think long and hard about how to make this challenge work and used their creativity to think of a creative snowman.
Today we enjoyed our Make & Create Stations with Mrs. Gabrielson’s class. We practiced using our creativity, critical thinking and engineering skills.
Lots of creating at the MakerSpace today! We built living things with Legos, created with magnetic blocks, Strawbees and played make my design. @MrsRyanNCE
8th grader Miss Megan came and worked with us for her passion project. We worked on our communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking skills. Thanks Megan for sharing your passion of working with kids. #futureteacher
North Creek readers are Dino-mite! North Creek students have taken the challenge to read 15,000 books for March Is Reading Month. If we can read 3,860 books by Friday, Mrs. Gillow and two other lucky staff members will get a pie in the face! Keep reading! @NorthCreekElem
MakerSpace Tuesday was filled with creativity and critical thinking. We built creations on the LEGO wall, made something that reminded us of spring and built a house using cards.
