As part of our living things study, we went on a nature walk today and saw the ABSOLUTE COOLEST THING: a praying mantis eating a spider!! I love hearing the student say, “I’ve got to write about this!!!”

Names are a special part of who we are and a connection to our families. We’ve learned so much about each other through these stories, like seeing a friend’s name in Mandarin, hearing that many of us were named after grandparents, or even various religious figures. #WeAreUnique

Today we read “A Little Spot of Kindness” by Diane Alber which gives many examples of ways to be kind to one another. We created a chart to hang outside our classroom where we will put stickers when we •SPOT• our classmates showing these acts of kindness. #WeAreKINDergarten
