Oregon Trail time, we’ve learned so much about why pioneers went west...including the 49’ers. So we found out inner gold miners and hunter for “gold” #CESMaroons #maroonpride

Oregon Trail:week 1, day 4: we had a broken leg mended by our medical kit, a jammed rifle that had to be replaced, sick livestock, also hunted an elk for 250 lbs of food to be carried on one of their horses. #cesmaroons #maroonpride

Group two did not make it across the river without issues. They lost all their food and some supplies. They were faced with high temperatures that almost killed their animals. They then hunted an antelope using 7 bullets.#CESMaroons #MaroonPride

Oregon Trail: Week 1, Day 3. We are continuing on our journey. We made some awesome wagons, designed our own brands for our livestock,read the journals of two children, and weighed our supplies.

Photos of our brandings. Group one had a member catch dysentery (but had medicine), they made it across a river, and attempted to hunt a bear. Their gun jammed leaving them without any extra food.

We’ve started our Journey on the Oregon Trail. We’ve had oxen die, a wagon train member catch cholera (but live!), a wagon wheel break, and we got robbed by bandits (thank goodness we had horses to catch them and save our supplies). #MrsYsClass #CESMaroons #MaroonPride

We were shipwrecked on a deserted island and had to figure out how to survive. Which concluded with coding a sphero and will help us paint our maps of the islands. Stay tuned to see how we use these speedy devices in paint! #cesmaroons #MaroonPride #MrsYsClass
