#Mayday🛟 Incredible footage from my US #Coastguard@USCGPacificNW colleagues.
Watch the moment a rescue swimmer was deployed from the helicopter🚁to a boat in distress just as a huge rolling wave 🌊hit… all persons were successfully rescued from the water and onto hospital.🙌
Our @RNLI crews launch to save the lives of everyone in trouble in the water. They've done that for 198 years and - with the continued support of the public and our phenomenal shore-based volunteers - will keep doing that. I'm proud to know people who do this.
4 weeks ago I went down to the river. I didn’t want to die but I didn’t feel worthy of life nor a sense of belonging. Rescued by lifeboat volunteers @rnli_teddington. Strangers who cared about me and my life - such kindness made me feel human. @RNLI#WSPD2022#SuicidePrevention
