This September 30th marks the 3rd National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. Students and staff across the DSBN are wearing orange today to recognize the impact of residential schools, to honour the victims and survivors and to reflect on this chapter of Canada’s past.

#RowansLawDay 💟 is named after Rowan Stringer, a high school rugby player who passed away from a condition known as second impact syndrome. In honour of her memory + to generate much-needed awareness about concussions + concussion safety, we wear purple (her favourite colour).
